MOUNT CRAWFORD, Va. — WSVA has confirmed that Mount Crawford wil be the location for a new Buc-ees Travel Center, off Interstate 81, at exit 240.
The Travel Center in Mount Crawford will be the second Virginia location for Buc-ees.
The first Buc-ees location in Virginia was announced earlier this year . It will be in New Kent County, off I 64.
In a release, this is how the company describes it’s location coming to New Kent County –
” Buc-ee’s Travel Center is a family-focused travel center featuring a wide range of freshly prepared foods including home-crafted bbq, custom made sandwiches, fresh salads and fruits, baked goods, and sweets as well as a unique collection of gifts, housewares, clothing, and weekend get-away gear. Buc-ee’s is open 24/7 and provides our guests with the cleanest restrooms and friendliest staff to be found anywhere.. Buc-ee’s is not a truck stop; 18 wheelers are not allowed on the property. Buc-ee’s is a one-of-a-kind destination.”
Multiple media reports say the New Kent County Buc-ee’s Super Center will have 75,000 square feet of retail space, 120 fueling positions, EV charging stations,. and 650 parking spaces. Including parking for buses and RVs. The Buc-ees location in New Kent County is expected to open in 2027.
Specific information, such as the size of the location in Mount Crawford or when it would open, have not been announced.
