First Degree Murder Charge Against Gordon Certified to Grand Jury

HARRISONBURG, Va – The case of the Harrisonburg man charged with first-degree murder following a mysterious death last summer is moving through in the courts.

Online records showed that Aaron Christopher Gordon Junior’s first-degree murder charge was certified to a grand jury during a preliminary hearing Tuesday morning in Harrisonburg-Rockingham General District Court.

The 25-year-old Gordon is accused of murdering Towan Julian Cappell, after his body was found at an Eastover Drive construction site on August 18th of last year.

Gordon was arrested back in May and remains in custody.
