HARRISONBURG, Va –Â Harrisonburg Police have arrested a man for embezzling nearly one million dollars.
Captain Todd Miller reports that on October 12th, the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Community Services Board contacted police regarding an employee suspected of embezzling a substantial sum of money between 2019 and 2021.
The suspect was identified as 36-year-old Andrew Hahn of Winchester, who was employed as the Board’s Information Technology Manager.
Following an investigation, Winchester Police arrested Hahn on Wednesday and charged him with felony money laundering as well as five counts of felony embezzlement.
He has since been transferred to the Rockingham Harrisonburg Regional Jail where he is being held without bond.
