After two weeks of rigorous campaigning, Virginia Tech’s inaugural Undergraduate Student Senate has been elected and a Broadway High School graduate is leading the way.

Caroline Lohr has been elected president. Lohr, who is a Psychology major and is scheduled to be a member of the 2023 graduating class, will lead an executive cabinet that is one of the five university senates that champions the voice of the undergraduate students at the Blacksburg school.

Her father, Matthew Lohr, posted on his Facebook page that Caroline began her interest in politics at the age of four and she is now able to chart her own path of serving others.
