Construction continues on Rockingham County Buc-ee’s

ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – Construction continues on the first Buc-ee’s in Virginia.

The popular gas and travel center will be opening in Rockingham County off of Exit 240 on Interstate 81 south of Harrisonburg .

The store will cover about 74,000 square feet with about 120 fuel stations. It will also have more than 20 EV charging stations and enough parking for 600 cars.

The store will also bring about 200 jobs to the commonwealth. The tentative date for opening is set for July 4, 2025.
