Freeze Watch Thursday night into Friday morning

STERLING VA: (Rocktown Now) – A Freeze Watch has been issued for Augusta, Rockingham, Shenandoah, and Page counties, warning of sub-freezing temperatures as low as 31°F expected late Thursday night through Friday morning. The National Weather Service cautions that these conditions could damage or kill crops and other sensitive vegetation, and may harm unprotected outdoor plumbing. Residents are advised to take precautionary measures now to protect tender plants and ensure outdoor pipes are properly insulated.
