Gas prices up slightly


HARRISONBURG VA:  (ROCKTOWN NOW) – Average gasoline prices in Virginia rose two cents per gallon in the last week and will begin the new work week averaging $3.35 a gallon.
That is according to GasBuddy’s survey of nearly 41-hundred stations across the commonwealth.
Prices in Virginia are about a nickel a gallon lower than a month ago and stand a penny per gallon higher than at this time last year.
Folks in the Harrisonburg area will see most stations selling gas at $3.39 a gallon.  Meanwhile, in Augusta County prices are at $3.20 per gallon.
The national average price of diesel has fallen two cents in the last week and stands at $3.73 per gallon.
