HARRISONBURG VA (Rocktown Now) – The Community Foundation of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County has announced the date for its Ninth Annual Great Community Give.

Director of Programs and Marketing Lauren Jefferson said on Early Mornings that the date will be April 22, 2026. “That is a week later than it normally is because the second Wednesday of the month is Tax Day. And we got a lot of feedback that wasn’t going to be helpful for a lot of people because they’d be busy and distracted. And so, we have bumped it back to April 22nd, which is Earth Day”.

Over 2.2 million dollars was raised during this year’s Great Community Give, which helped 147 non-profit organizations.
