HARRISONBURG, Va. (JMU Athletics) – James Madison football will host the 2026 Spring Game, presented by Duke’s Mayo, on Saturday, April 25 at Bridgeforth Stadium.

The Spring Game kicks off at 2 p.m., and admission is free for all spectators. Stadium gates will open at 1 p.m. and parking and tailgating will be available beginning at 10 a.m. in Lots C5 (formerly named F Lot), P and G, which are adjacent to the stadium. General parking is also available in the Champions Deck.

The game format will be determined closer to the event. The Dukes will begin spring practice under new Head Coach Billy Napier in late March.

JMU is fresh off a 12-2 season in 2025, highlighted by the program winning its first Sun Belt Football Championship and earning a berth in the 2025-26 College Football Playoff. The wins were the most for JMU since reclassifying to the Football Bowl Subdivision, and the conference title was the 11th in program history.

Since moving up to the FBS and into the Sun Belt, JMU is 40-11 overall with a 25-7 mark in league games. The Dukes hold the sixth-highest win percentage of all FBS teams since the start of 2022.
