Shenandoah Valley Weather: Remnants of Hurricane Isaias will bring rain and wind tonight and Sunday

HARRISONBURG VA: (Rocktown Now) – Skies will be cloudy today with temperatures reaching into the sixties. Tropical rain will overspread the area late tonight and continue through Sunday. Rainfall estimates for the Shenandoah Valley are between one and two inches. Skies should clear Monday and sunshine will return for at least the first half of next week. Our next chance for rain will be a chance for showers late next week.

A Wind Advisory continues for the Blue Ridge through 11 AM Sunday morning. A Flood Watch is in effect for the Blue Ridge and portions of surrounding counties east of the Blue Ridge beginning early Sunday morning through late Sunday night. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible in the watch area. Damaging wind gusts and a couple of brief tornadoes are possible Sunday afternoon, mainly east of the Blue Ridge and Catoctin Mountains
