BRIDGEWATER VA: (Rocktown Now) -The Rockingham County Board of Supervisors convened Wednesday afternoon at the Sipe Center in Bridgewater for a packed agenda that included fees for Massanutten’s Water Authority.

County staff proposed a new fee schedule for the Massanutten Water and Sewer Authority, including base rates, per-1,000-gallon charges, and connection fees.  residential water rates would be $18 per 1,000 gallons and wastewater rates would be $20 per 1,000 gallons. A public hearing on the proposed rates and budget amendments is scheduled for November 3 at the MPOA Conference Room in Massanutten.

The Board will reconvene for its next regular meeting on October 22. Public hearings on the Massanutten Water and Sewer Authority’s budget and rate structure will be held November 3.
