Showers possible tonight and tomorrow. Cool and wet weather follow Tuesday and Wednesday

HARRISONBURG VA: (Rocktown Now) – We have a chance for thunderstorms today and tomorrow, but the big change will be the temperatures. Say goodbye to the 80’s after today. A frontal zone will keep clouds over the Shenandoah Valley today with showers possible and maybe a thunderstorm. A cold front will bring cooler and wet weather for the first half of the week along with temperatures in the 60’s. Moisture overhead will collide with an area of low pressure moving up the coast midweek. This may lead to a couple days of a steady, although light, rain for Tuesday and Wednesday. Windy conditions will likely follow late Wednesday and Thursday before the low moves north and drier air arrives for the upcoming weekend.
