Your Work Week Forecast: Rising temperatures and humidity with a chance for thunderstorms

HARRISONBURG VA: (Rocktown Now) – Our first full week of September will feature sunny skies and cool nights to start, some heat and humidity in the middle and then a cool down with thunderstorms possible at the end. High pressure over the Great Lakes will push east and bring sunshine and lower humidity for today. The high continues south on Tuesday, allowing more humid air to drop down from the north. With the humidity comes a chance for thunderstorms Wednesday and Thursday, with temperatures warming to the mid 80’s. High pressure returns for the weekend, along with lower humidity.
